This Privacy Policy explains how Connecty AI Corporation (“Connecty AI,” “we,” “our,” or “us”) collects, uses, discloses, and otherwise processes your personal information (also referred to as “personal data”) in connection with:
- Your use of Connecty AI’s websites and applications, including any software, browser interfaces, or hosted tools that link to this Privacy Policy (collectively, the “Sites”);
- Our proprietary data modeling and analytics infrastructure platform and services (the “Platform Services”); and
- Our general business operations, including marketing, events, partnerships, and sales outreach (together with the Sites and Platform Services, the “Services”).
This Privacy Policy also explains your rights and choices with respect to your personal information and how to contact us if you have any questions.
Our Services
We provide the Connecty AI Platform Services to our customers under an agreement and solely for their benefit and the benefit of their personnel authorized to use the platform (“Authorized Users”). Our processing of personal data relating to Authorized Users is governed by the applicable terms of service or agreement and this Privacy Policy.
This Privacy Policy does not apply to:
- Customer Data — any data (including datasets, schema, metrics, or metadata) that customers or Authorized Users upload, submit, or process through the Platform Services. We process such data solely as a data processor/service provider in accordance with our terms of service;
- Third-party websites or services that are not owned or operated by Connecty AI and that link to separate privacy notices; or
- Job applicant data collected through our careers portal, which is governed by our separate Applicant Privacy Notice.

By using our Services, you consent to the practices described in this Privacy Policy. If you do not agree, please do not use the Services.
1. Personal Information We Collect
We collect the following categories of personal information:
a. Information You Provide to Us
- Biographical and Account Information: Full name, email address, company name, job title, password, profile settings, and workspace name.
- Support and Feedback: Emails, chats, and calls with our support team and information you include when contacting support, giving product feedback, or participating in user studies.
- Content Submissions: Any data, comments, documents, datasets, or configurations submitted during your use of our Services (e.g., schema, its metadata, queries or semantic models).
- Marketing Preferences: Your opt-in or opt-out status, communication preferences, and engagement with marketing messages.
- Job Applicant Information: If you apply for a position, we collect your resume, contact info, education and work history, and relevant qualifications, either directly or via third-party platforms.
b. Information We Collect Automatically
We and our partners automatically collect:
- Device and Browser Data: OS type/version, browser type, IP address, screen resolution, system settings, mobile carrier, language, and device identifiers.
- Usage Data: Features used, interactions within the app, pages viewed, session duration, navigation flows, error logs, and performance metrics.
- Log Data: Timestamps, user IDs, authentication events, and service requests.
- Cookies and Similar Technologies: Cookies, HTML5 local storage, and web beacons to recognize your browser or device, remember preferences, analyze behavior, and deliver targeted ads. See Section 10 for more on cookies.
c. Information from Third Parties
- Social Media Platforms: If you interact with us via LinkedIn, X (Twitter), or similar sites, those platforms may share data with us subject to their privacy policies.
- Marketing and Analytics Partners: We may receive data (such as business profiles or company tech stacks) from partners to enrich user profiles or tailor our outreach.
- Recruitment Platforms: If you apply via tools like AngelList or Lever, we receive application data subject to those platforms' terms.
2. How We Use Personal Information
We use the personal information we collect for a variety of business purposes, including to provide, improve, secure, and promote our Services. Below is a breakdown of how we use personal data:
2a. To Operate and Provide the Services
We use your personal information to:
- Provide, operate, maintain, and secure the Services, including the Connecty AI platform, semantic modeling tools, and user interfaces;
- Set up and administer your account, including verifying your identity and managing permissions or access to workspaces;
- Fulfill contractual obligations, including processing transactions, provisioning services, and managing subscriptions or invoices;
- Communicate with you about the Services, including sending onboarding information, platform announcements, updates, feature releases, security alerts, and other administrative or transactional messages;
- Understand your usage patterns and feedback, in order to deliver tailored experiences, recommended features, or relevant onboarding support;
- Facilitate collaboration and team workflows, such as user invitations, workspace sharing, or access controls within an organization;
- Respond to your support requests and resolve technical issues, including analyzing crash reports, error logs, and usage telemetry.
2b. For Research and Development
We use personal information for product and business improvement, including:
- Analyzing platform performance, user behavior, and system reliability to improve stability, usability, and responsiveness;
- Testing and developing new features, models, and tools within the Connecty AI platform;
- Evaluating feature adoption, measuring engagement trends, and identifying UX friction points;
- Creating aggregated, de-identified, or anonymized data from personal information. We do this by removing identifiers so that data cannot be linked back to you. We may use and share anonymized data with third parties to support lawful business or research purposes such as benchmarking, analytics, or publications.
We do not use your personal data or datasets to train machine learning models, including large language models (LLMs), unless you have given us explicit consent to do so.
2c. For Marketing and Advertising
We, and our advertising or marketing partners, may use your personal information to:
Direct Marketing
Send promotional communications via email, in-app notifications, or other channels, including:
- Product updates and new feature announcements
- Invitations to webinars, beta programs, or user studies

3. How We Share Personal Information
We share your personal information only as necessary to support the purposes described in this Privacy Policy. This includes sharing with the following categories of recipients:
- Service Providers: We share data with trusted third parties who provide services on our behalf, including cloud hosting (e.g., AWS), email delivery, payment processing, analytics, and customer support.
- Affiliates: Your information may be shared internally within the Connecty AI corporate group for operational purposes, such as customer success and account management.

- Recruitment Platforms: If you apply for a job, your data may be shared with service providers who assist with candidate screening and application evaluation.

4. Customer Data Disclaimer
Any data uploaded or submitted by customers (e.g., datasets, metrics, metadata) is considered Customer Data. We process Customer Data solely as a data processor/service provider in accordance with our customer agreements, applicable laws, including GDPR and CCPA, and any applicable Data Processing Agreement (DPA). This Privacy Policy does not govern Customer Data.
5. Legal Basis for Processing (EU/UK)
We rely on the following legal bases to process personal data:
- Contractual Necessity: To provide and operate the Services.
- Legitimate Interest: To improve our Services and ensure security.
- Legal Obligation: To comply with tax, accounting, or regulatory requirements.
- Consent: For marketing emails or analytics where required by law.

We employ industry-standard technical and organizational measures, including:
- Encryption (in transit and at rest)

We use reasonable technical, organizational and physical safeguards designed to protect the personal information we collect. However, no security measures are failsafe and we cannot guarantee the security of your personal information. You use the Services at your own risk.

7a. Managing Personal Information

- Access or delete information: EU/UK and CA residents may request access or deletion by emailing privacy@connectyai.com.
7b. Marketing Preferences
You may opt out of marketing emails using the unsubscribe link in any message or by contacting us.
7c. Limit Tracking and Cookies
You can manage cookies and trackers by:
- Adjusting your browser settings
- Using ad-blocking extensions (e.g., Privacy Badger, uBlock Origin)
- Visiting opt-out tools:

We do not currently respond to "Do Not Track" signals.
8. International Data Transfers
We process personal data in geographic regions aligned with customer residency requirements. For example, data from European users is stored and processed exclusively on infrastructure located within the European Economic Area (EEA), while data from U.S. users is handled on U.S.-based infrastructure. Where cross-border transfers are necessary (such as access for support or engineering purposes), we implement:
- Standard Contractual Clauses (SCCs) as approved by the European Commission,
- Data Processing Agreements (DPAs) with our service providers,
- Supplementary safeguards in line with GDPR requirements.
We are not currently certified under the EU-U.S. Data Privacy Framework but employ equivalent protective measures for international data transfers.
9. Other Important Information
9a. Data Retention
Connecty AI retains the personal information described in this Privacy Notice for as long as you use our Services, as may be required by law (for example, to comply with applicable legal tax or accounting requirements), as necessary for other legitimate business or commercial purposes described in this Privacy Notice (for example, to resolve disputes or enforce our agreements), or as otherwise communicated to you.
9b. Third Party Services
Our Services may contain links to third party websites, applications, services, or social networks (including co-branded websites or products that are maintained by one of our business partners). We may also make available certain features that allow you to sign into our Sites using third party login credentials (such as LinkedIn, Microsoft, Facebook, Twitter and Google) or access third party services from our Platform Services (such as Github). Any information that you choose to submit to third party services is not covered by this Privacy Notice. We encourage you to read the terms of use and privacy notices of use of such third party services before disclosing your information with them to understand how your information may be collected and used1.
9c. Children’s Privacy
Our Services are not directed to individuals under the age of 16. We do not knowingly collect personal data from children. If you believe we have done so, please contact us at privacy@connectyai.com, and we will delete it.
10. Changes to This Policy
We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. If material changes are made, we will notify you by email, through the platform, or via a prominent notice on our website. The "Last Updated" date reflects the most recent changes. Your continued use of the Services means you accept the updated policy.
